About the wine
The vineyards of Le Zalte are located between Picedo and Polpenazze del Garda, and extend over three hectares with a planting density of 6,500 vines per hectare, cultivated according to the simple Guyot system with a yield of 60 quintals per hectare
Tasting note
Intense ruby red with violet reflections, the nose is broad and intense with notes of blackberries, raspberries, cherry jam and violets, beautifully spicy in the background. The palate is soft and full of sweet and velvety tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team recommends this Benaco Bresciano Cabernet IGT Le Zalte to accompany pizza with mushrooms, ribeye steak and Gruyère burgers.
Vinification
Fermentation in small stainless steel tanks without the use of selected yeasts. After a maceration period of 20 days, the must is separated from the skins and filled into barriques. After 16 months of aging, the wine is bottled.
