Medium purple — extremely intense and exciting nose with fruity, spicy and floral notes. Ripe red berries, wild herbs and violets dominate and complement each other to create a wonderful, beguiling impression that is immediately noticeable on the palate. The grapes from the gnarled, 120-year-old vines at 768m above sea level provide the unmistakable character of this great wine, which, although incredibly dense in aroma, is also fresh and enormously balanced due to the altitude. This small vineyard plot covers just 0.32 ha and consists of 97% Garnacha and 3% other varieties.
