About the wine
Brovia is one of the best Barolo producers in Piedmont and cultivates large individual vineyards such as Villero, Rocche di Castiglione and Garblét Sue. These Nebbiolo plants are characterized by high quality, unique elegance, strong character and great ripening potential.
Tasting note
Aromas of cherries, currants and plums dominate the nose, plus earthy notes, herbs, flowers and some tar. On the palate, this Barolo shows lots of cherry fruit and some smoke. Lots of juiciness, powerful tannin structure, wonderful balance and long aftertaste. Be able to inspire even in the fruiting phase, but anyone who waits will be rewarded!
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Barolo DOCG passt ideal zu Trüffelrisotto, Burrata und Pizza.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation for 15 to 20 days on the mash at a maximum of 28°C. Then classic aging in neutral large barrels of 3,000 to 10,000 liters for two years. The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks for a few more months. Filling without filtration and subsequent bottle aging under optimal conditions.
