About the wine

Chiara Boschis' Barolo comes from the renowned Cannubi location in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. The dainty entrepreneur studied economics before taking over the farm of traditional winemaker and winemaker Pira, who proudly noted “Stamped with his feet” on his labels. Chiara Boschi has made a U-turn in vinification; her cannubi is characterised by elegance, full fruit and subtlety and is an accessible, radiant treat even when young. The Barolo from the Via Nuovo vineyard right above the pretty winery is also of great size and is one of the best wines in the region.
