About the wine

Tasting note
The prestigious Oddero family winery is located in the heart of the Nebbiolo paradise Barolo, on the flanks of the impressive hills of La Morra. The 6th and 7th generation around the committed Mariacristina Oddero relies entirely on tradition combined with current and future-oriented sustainability. Oddero is one of the few Barolo wineries since time immemorial and has also owned sites in Barbaresco. The Gallina corresponds to the Oddero style, which refines the distinctiveness of the Nebbiolo grape with a feminine touch - the strong Oddero women send their regards!

Flaschenpost team tip: Barbaresco Gallina DOCG goes perfectly with prosciutto, pizza and truffle risotto. Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: now until 2030.
Vinification
The vinification took place as follows: 24 months in large French and Austrian oak barrels.
