About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Cantina Benini Alessandro has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the beautiful and fertile countryside of Veneto. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Corvina with game or hearty meat dishes.
Tasting note
Ruby red color with copper reflections. The nose smells of flowers, wild berries, red roses, but also leather and tobacco. Full-bodied with a long, lingering mouthfeel and elegant, lively tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler is recommended for game, hearty meat dishes and roasts. Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for red wine is a slightly chilled temperature of 16°-18°C.
Vinification
The Mazzacanà is made from the Valpolicella grapes from the Benini vineyards, which are located in the municipalities of Lavagna and Marcellise. The wine ferments in steel tanks for 10 days, is decanted, then peeled and filled into French oak tonneaux. Aging for approx. 6-8 months before bottling.
