About the wine

The “Tura Portura” shows mild aromas and shows slight nuances of chocolate, dried figs, plums and gooseberries. Full-bodied with balanced acidity, it is ideal as a dessert wine to end a festive meal. The selected overripe Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this wine are harvested by hand. The vineyard is the oldest of the winery and is located at an altitude of 850 meters on the mountain “Bracha”. The fermentation lasts two weeks with a temperature of 29 degrees and one of them with the grape skins. The drop then matures for 32 months in the wine cellar. A “Tura Mountain Heights Portura” bottle can be enjoyed from the moment of purchase, but remains in excellent drinking condition for a few years. Pair the wine with a hearty chocolate cake, sweet fruit or roasted nuts.
