About the wine
You will definitely enjoy the delicious Tinto Gran Reserva Ribera del Duero DO, which was produced in 2014. The winemaker from the Spanish winery Martín Berdugo has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the enchanting and picturesque landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon).
Tasting note
Clear ruby red with hints of garnet and brick nuances. The aroma of unique elegance in which the original fruity scents have developed into a typical bouquet of ripe Tempranillo. The tannins have been tamed and rounded off during storage in the barrels and then in the bottle. This gives the Tinto Gran Reserva a soft mouthfeel and a finish that reflects the minerality of the gravel from the plots.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C.
Vinification
The grapes were harvested by hand at the optimum moment. The alcoholic fermentation takes 7 to 9 days at a temperature between 26° and 28°C after a cold pre-fermentation maceration of 3 to 5 days. The Tinto Gran Reserva was then aged in oak barrels for 30 months before being bottled.
