About the wine
If you're looking for something special, then don't miss out on this provocative Grenache 2015 — Tierra Blanco Rioja DOCa. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Labastida masters this white wine in the picturesque and beautiful landscape of Upper Ebro. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This grenache is ideal to be served with spicy food or red meat.
Tasting note
The Tierra bianco from Viura, Malvasia and Garnacha bianca surprises with freshness and juicy fruit that is not typical of the region. Aromas of ripe apricot, some apple and a slight vanilla touch inspire both on the nose and on the palate. It looks meaty, with lots of melting and shines with a wonderfully long finish. A wonderful companion to fatty fish dishes, seafood, poultry, pasta and veal.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Mediterranean cuisine, fish dishes and seafood, veal blanquett, poultry and appetizers of all kinds.
Vinification
The grapes for Tierra Blanco are picked by hand, carefully selected, then pressed and fermented in used 225 liter French and American oak barrels. The wine then matures on fine yeast for 4 months.
