About the wine
Hand picking of selected grapes, maceration on the skins at a temperature of around 28°C for 25-3 days. After tapping, malolactic fermentation takes place, followed by 24-month aging in wooden barrels (large barrels made of Slavonian oak and French oak barriques) and a final 12-24 month bottle aging.
Tasting note
It has a bright ruby red color, dense and consistent in the glass; on the nose, it is complex and initially shows notes of wild berries and dried flowers, ending with tertiary scents such as cinchona bark, tobacco and licorice. On the palate, it is characterized by its balance and softness, which give it elegance and drinkability.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with porcini soup, grilled red meat, braised beef.
