About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Vis Amoris is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the fertile and sunny countryside of Liguria. Tasting note
Crystal clear straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose is intense and persistent, fine, floral and fruity, with notes of orange blossom, cedarwood, green melon, pineapple, grapefruit and a touch of sage and musk. Dry, fresh, fruity, slightly warming, full and persistent on the palate. Pleasant, mineral-like structure. The aftertaste is good, balanced and juicy.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta with pesto.
Vinification
Made from selected grapes from vineyards of the same name. After destemming, the grapes ferment for 48 hours. This is followed by gentle pressing. The must is fermented partly in stainless steel at 18 to 20°C and partly in small oak barrels. Before it is on the market, the young wine is left in the bottle for at least eight months.
