About the wine
With the strong red wine 2008 — Shiraz Reserve, nuances and accents are redefined. The winemaker from the Australian winery Wild Duck Creek has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the beautiful and sunny Victoria countryside. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this shiraz with game or roasted vegetables.
Tasting note
Expressive bouquet with lots of ripe dark fruit, aromas of rum pot, cassis, chocolate and coffee. Rich on the palate, concentrated and rich in extracts. Wonderful balance between fruit and acidity. Long, never-ending finale. Very good aging potential.

Vinification
Angaben über Vinifizierung: Nach der Handlese gelangen die Trauben in offenen Gärbehältern in denen die alkoholische Vergärung stattfindet. Der Tresterhut wird dabei mehrmals täglich, von Hand untergestossen. Der Wein wird anschliessend schonend mit der Korbpresse gepresst und gelangt für die 24-monatige Reifung in neue französische Barriques
