About the wine
The stately estate in Flemlingen was owned by the Counts von der Leyen until the 16th century. The Minges family has been managing the property for eight generations now and, according to their own statement, is associated with the fascination of winemaking. Their goal is to skilfully bottle the minerality of the diverse soils and the character of the grape varieties.
Bio
Tasting note
Fresh scrub with exotic notes of pineapple and passion fruit, as well as red apple, quince and lemon. On the palate, a mild acidity that harmonizes well with the remaining sweetness and makes the wine very easy to drink. The aftertaste is medium-long and ends with notes of citrus.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Scheurebe Feinherb passt ideal zu Dessert und asiatischen Gerichten.
Vinification
After manual harvesting, the selected grapes are kept cool for eight hours. It is then pressed very gently and the fermentation and aging take place in a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank.
