About the wine
The charming Heidi Schröck, she modestly calls herself a winegrower in Rust, is one of Austria's highest wine celebrities. Their outstanding, internationally acclaimed wine is the great dessert wine specialty from Burgenland's Neusiedlersee: the Ruster Ausbruch. The humid sea air promotes the development of botrytis for noble rotten grapes, which are picked by hand in several rounds and broken out in a targeted manner. It is mineral, fresh despite its generous sweetness, and smells of apricots and biscuit. Grapes: Welschriesling, Weissburgunder, Furmint. A golden gem!

In autumn, the humid sea air promotes the production of botrytis for noble rotten grapes, which are picked by hand in several rounds and specifically “broken out”. The must ferments in 225 liter barrels and then matures for 24 months until it is bottled unfiltered. It is mineral, fresh despite its generous sweetness, and smells of apricots and biscuit. Due to its concentration and density, it has aging potential for decades

Unsere Empfehlung: Trinken Sie diesen Weisswein bei leicht gekühlten 8°-10°C. Der Wein sollte in diesem Zeitraum genossen werden: Jetzt bis 2034. Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Ruster Ausbruch Burgenland passt bestens zu Pilzen, indischer Küche und Ente.
