About the wine
Founded in 1936, Palamà Winery is located on the sun-drenched Salento Peninsula in Puglia. In the early days, the wine produced there was sold exclusively in the surrounding osteria. In 1988, Cosimo, known as Nini, and Donato, the two sons of founder Michele Arcangelo Palamà, took over the management and modernized the business. From then on, they began to press their wine under their own name. In a strict selection of vines and sites, combined with traditional wine-growing techniques, they increasingly increased the quality of the wines.
Tasting note
In the glass, the Metiusco shows a bright ruby red. The wide-ranging bouquet combines ripe fruit notes with delicately spicy aromas. Rich in taste with a pronounced aromatic note, a smooth wine with no edges or corners.
