About the wine

Ciacci Piccolomini is located in the hamlet of Castelnuovo del Abate, in the province of Siena. Paolo Bianchini, a member of the owner family, manages the farm, which covers around 200 hectares, of which 35 are vineyards, 40 olive groves and the rest is sown and pasture land. The vines grow on rocky soil on the slope of the Orcia River, which creates a particularly mild microclimate on its surrounding hills. The goal of producing valuable and healthy grapes in the vineyard is achieved by combining tradition and the latest technology, which gives the wines both modern character and immortality.
