Tasting note
Sweet color. Complex and balanced on the nose, with aromas of citrus and herbs and notes of toast, almonds and pastries. On the palate, it is slightly sweet, balanced with a lively feeling of freshness. Sweet and very pleasant aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
This sweet wine goes well with foie gras, various desserts, in particular pastries, and a wide selection of hard cheeses.
Vinification
Its production is a key factor. After the grapes were harvested at an advanced stage of ripeness, they were pressed and fermented. The fermentation process was then deliberately stopped to preserve some of the natural sweetness of the grapes. The wine aged in oak barrels for one year and then in the bottle for more than 15 years.
