About the wine
The Grans Fassian winery was founded in 1624 by the Grans and Fassian families in Leiwen on the Moselle, the oldest German wine region, and has long been one of the absolute top German wine producers. In 1982, the passionate winemaker Gerhard Grans took over the business from his father Matthias and expanded the vineyard area from 4 hectares to 13 hectares. With his tireless desire for greater precision and refinement, he turned Grans-Fassian into a top company, which has received prestigious awards from year to year.
Tasting note
Clear slate minerality is covered by quince and pear. Powerful and dynamic large plant with beautiful tension, structure, grip and great vitality.
