About the wine
With the biting white wine 2019 — Riesling Confidential, you can offer your guests something very special. The winemaker from the German winery Dorst und Consorten masters this white wine with sensitivity and intuition in the picturesque and sunny landscape of the Rhine Valley. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Riesling with mushrooms or Indian cuisine.
Tasting note
Aromas of yellow fruits, such as mirabelles and apricots and a splash of grapefruit, await you on the nose, beautifully dry and grippy in the gout with a touch of wild yeasts that ferment the wine to an elegant 13%. A very dense wine that constantly releases new aromas.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with appetizers, saltwater fish, poultry, vegetables and freshwater fish.
Vinification
A Riesling from organic farming. The abandonment of any fining and the ten-month expansion period was a consequent continuation of the natural career path. From three exceptional Deidesheim vineyards: pebble mountain, lime kiln, paradise garden. Aromas of mirabelles, a touch of wild yeasts that fermented the wine to a light 12.5%.
