About the wine
Blooming and picturesque landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Valter Musso conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. With the snappy Nebbiolo 2017 — Pora Barbaresco DOCG Riserva, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Nebbiolo with truffle risotto or prosciutto.
Tasting note
Brilliant garnet red. The intense, multi-faceted bouquet ranges from pickled cherries to violets and dried rose petals. Warm on the palate with lots of substance, the rich fruit is accompanied by subtle notes of noble spices such as white pepper and cinnamon. The tannins are noble and harmoniously integrated. A powerful wine, persistent in the finish and finish.

Vinification
For the first 12 months, the Pora Riserva matures in 50 hl oak barrels, then it is transferred to 25 hl barrels where it is stored for another 18 months.
