Tasting note
Appealing aromas of red cherries, plums and floral scents. Nice fruit expression, lively acidity and crisp tannins - full of energy and happiness, but also wonderfully unsophisticated.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with a typical African braai.
Vinification
From two vineyards, with unwatered bush vines, planted on decomposed granite soils near False Bay in southern Stellenbosch. A pinotage in the style of a “Farmer's Rosé.” Fermented from 100% whole grapes, lightly and without oak wood. Aged in stainless steel tanks.
