About the wine
Cattleya Wines is the result of Bibiana González-Raves' great love for wine. Born in Colombia, she learned her craft in France before settling down in California after a few more stops and began to press her own wines. Her constant goal is to breathe soul and character into the wines, which reflect the uniqueness of the terroir.

Tasting note
Intense aromas of dark berries, violets, rhubarb and spices. On the palate, soft tannins with lots of juiciness and well-dosed concentration. The long-lasting finish is accompanied by lots of cherry fruit.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Pinot Noir Cuvée Number One Russian River Valley passt perfekt zu rotem Fleisch, Lachs und Ente.
Vinification
The selectively picked grapes were fermented with natural yeasts. The aging and malolactic fermentation took place for 11 months in French oak barrels (55% new wood). The wine was bottled in mid-August 2022.
