The winemaker from the Spanish winery Estancia Piedra has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the graceful and beautiful landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). Tasting note
Brilliant, attractive and colorful cherry red. On the nose, the wine is complex and full of powerful, ripe fruit aromas, supported by a nice spiciness. On the palate, it continues with the same impressions, fine tannins and refreshing acidity. Long and aromatic aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Recognized as a classic buffet and grill partner. With spicy pasta dishes and fresh cheese.
Vinification
The hand-picked harvest is carried out in small 20-kilo boxes. The grapes are sorted out on a sorting table. The must is then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The young wine is then aged for 12 months in barriques (75% F, 25% US).
