About the wine
With this dominant Chardonnay 2017 — Nounat Binigrau, do/mo, the term taste takes on a new meaning. The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Binigrau greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside of the Balearic Islands. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Chardonnay is ideal to be served with truffles or poultry.
Tasting note
The fruity aromas of Nounat Binigrau, do/mo of passion fruit, peach and almond express a lot of character with a very unique structure. Afterwards, the refreshing nuances of lemon, lime and apple reveal their own character. Slim body and dominant acidity result in the fruity white wine, which shows a lot of character and class in the mouth.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with saltwater fish, white meat, soft cheese, aperitif, poultry and veal.
Vinification
The vinification took place as follows: fermentation in steel tanks and partly in barriques.
