About the wine
Masseria del Feudo is a family business that primarily grows fruit, more specifically apricots and peaches. Only in the last two decades have their own grapes been vinified, and at the latest since the renowned oenologist Emiliano Falsini has been advising the Cucurullo family, Masseria del Feudo has worked its way up to the top tier of Sicilian viticulture.

Tasting note
Deep purple. Complex aroma of ripe red fruits, licorice, spices and tobacco. The vanilla note, which was still distinct in previous vintages, is only slightly perceptible in the background. On the palate, with a strong but velvety structure, strong acidity and a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with medium-aged cheese, stews with or without meat, pasta with strong sauces.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and fermented for 20 days after maceration with their own yeasts. The wine ages for 12 months partly in barriques and partly in large wood, then for a further 6 months in the bottle.
