Tasting note
Intense golden yellow. On the nose, beguiling scents of melons, oranges and apricots as well as floral nuances. On the palate, pleasant sweetness with medium acidity, beautifully balanced and elegant. Long on the finish, with fine minerality.
Culinary recommendation
A great accompaniment to a tarte tatin, a “liquid” chocolate cake, ripe Roquefort or a spicy Brie de Meaux.
Vinification
The Muscat grapes are pressed after harvesting and the must is fermented in steel tanks. Alcoholic fermentation is stopped by adding wine spirit at an alcohol content of approx. 10%. This produces a residual sweet wine with an alcohol volume of 15%, which has a sophisticated aroma structure. Before bottling, the wine ages on yeast with regular bâtonnage in stainless steel tanks for twelve months.
