About the wine
The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Jean Vuillen & Fils grows this wine in the countryside. You will definitely have a lot of fun with the delicious Mondeuse Prestige Vieille Vigne Savoire Rouge AOC, which was produced in 2019.
Tasting note
Medium garnet red with distinctive violet reflections. Intense peppery spice on the nose, black cherry, dark stone fruits, noticeable roasted chimney notes, brioche and tobacco. On the palate, notes of black walnuts, lively acidity and finely interwoven spicy tannins. Very elegant and harmonious, full-bodied yet taut — an exciting wine discovery.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with chicken de bresse, sliced veal with morels, “tartiflette”, sausage and cheese specialties.
