About the wine

The De Moya winery was founded in 2001 by Belgian Yves Laurijssens. Back then, he emigrated to Spain with his family to fulfill his dream of having his own winery. He found what he was looking for in Valencia and bought 40 hectares of land on which there are vineyards up to 95 years old. Yve's goal was to make the best red wines from the Bobal grape. All the wines that were created bear the names of his family members. The name of the winery comes from the small, charming village of Casas de Moya, where the vineyards are located. The height of the hills varies between 800 and 950 meters. |
