Tasting note
Dark red color with purple reflections. Fruity, berry start on the nose with a bit of wood aroma. Very complex, dense and aroma-intensive on the palate. Taste of black currants and ripe elderberry. There is also some caramel, vanilla and roasted aromas. Very fine, well-integrated tannins. Long and fruity aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with capuns, game dishes, red poultry, fried beef and roast veal.
Vinification
Some of the grapes for Molina are fermented in open fermentation stands and some in modern temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. All grape varieties are fermented separately and then aged separately. The aging takes place for 15 months in mostly new French Allier oak barrels.
