About the wine
The grapes are picked by hand and then destemmed, mashed and pressed into red wine after traditional winemaking. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature and mashing can take 10 to 15 days. The wine is then aged for 12 months in 5000 and 7500 liter oak barrels and then aged in the bottle for a further 6 months.

Tasting note
Color: intense ruby red with purple reflections, tending to garnet red as it ages; scent: complex, with a broad spectrum, with aromas of ripe fruit; taste: winey, full-bodied and balanced. On the palate, it releases aromas of ripe fruit, slight spicy notes and well-integrated tannins make this wine complex and long-lasting.
Culinary recommendation
A very versatile wine, goes well with all Ticino dishes, from risotto, polenta and roasts to grilled meat, sausages and alpine cheese.
