About the wine
Give yourself joy for the senses with the delicious Marselan M Vin de Pays Suisse from 2018! With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Swiss winery Charles Rolaz / Hammel SA masters this red wine in the fertile and sunny landscape of Vaud.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with foie gras tureen, gnocchi, porcini ravioli, venison, turkey, apicius duck, pata negra presa, mushroom risotto (porcini mushrooms, chanterelle, shiitake), lamb shoulder with oriental sauce, beef and not too strong cheese.
Vinification
For many years, the entire winery has been managed according to environmentally friendly principles. Ripeness monitoring to determine harvest time, yield limit, harvest and hand-pick to keep berries intact. Extra. Sorting out the best berries upon arrival in the cellar. Gentle pressing. Fermentation for approx. 3 weeks before the wine is aged on the fine yeast in French oak barrels for approx. 15 months.
