About the wine

Tasting note
The Maremma Toscana DOC Cucchetto's fruity aromas of fruit compote, spices and tobacco express a lot of character with a very special structure. The fruity nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper then reveal their own character. Its deep ruby red is the icing on the cake for any special occasion. Your friends will tell you. A strong body and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which, balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows a lot of character and class.

Vinification
To obtain the aroma, the mash macerates for 10 days with frequent pumping, which at the same time achieves excellent color. The malolactic fermentation takes place in high-quality, new French oak barrels, in which the wine remains in contact with its yeast rub for over 18 months. The grape varieties are then blended and bottled, where the wine matures for another 4 months.
