Tasting note
Dense, intense ruby Rich and elegant on the nose. Dark berry fruit, warm spices, some dried fruit and elegant roasted notes. Compact and complex on the palate. With polished tannins and delicate acidity. Aromas of fine wood, dried fruits and ripe, dark fruits. Long, aromatic aftertaste. A wine that wonderfully combines abundance, power and elegance.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with brasato di manzo or mature soft cheese.
Vinification
After harvesting, the Nebbiolo grapes are carefully crushed, fermented in the mash and the young wine is then aged for two years in medium-sized wooden barrels and barriques. A further year of bottle aging refines the wine.
