Tasting note
Even on the nose, the deep red Côte Rotie is very elegant and shows a wonderful spectrum of aromas with notes of small, red fruits with hints of smoked bacon and cold ash. The palate is extremely fine and is dense, intense, round, with silky, velvety tannins and a long-lasting finish, which is further enhanced by a nice interplay of acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb dishes.
Vinification
15 months in one-year-old barriques and Demi-Muids oak barrels.
