Quite appropriate, because in the past, Karthäuserhof wines were chilled in Eitelsbach, a tributary of the Ruwer. This explains the bottle's neck banding instead of the classic label. On the nose, this clear, lively white shows a bouquet of yellow stone fruit, citrus fruits and green apples. On the palate, it combines finesse with intensity, is rich and juicy with a distinctive mineral vein. The wine comes from the legendary Karthäuserhof berg vineyard, which was already mentioned in writing in 1223.
