Irrosso di Casanova di Neri Sant'Antimo DOC 2019 - Casanova di Neri

About the wine

Year after year, this outstanding winery produces fabulous wines that belong to the elite class in Tuscany. First-class vineyards and tireless work form the basis for the unique wines of the Azienda Agricola Casanova di Neri. The friendly Giacomo Neri runs this beautiful winery together with Diretore Pierluigi Bonari. It was founded in 1971 when Giovanni Neri purchased an extensive estate in the municipality of Montalcino. Over the years, land has been searched for and acquired land where there are excellent conditions for growing great wines. The will to produce an excellent Brunello di Montalcino was paramount right from the start. Today, Casanova di Neri owns a total of around 63 hectares of vineyards, which are divided into four vineyards in very different locations: The Pietradonice vineyard is located in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, Le Cetine in Sant'Angelo in Colle, Cerretalto and Fiesole near the Fiesole estate opposite Montalcino. Cerretalto is one of Italy's best and most sought-after gems and is rightly one of the top 3 Italian red wines.
