About the wine
Sunny and fertile landscapes in Baden give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the German winery Hanspeter Ziereisen conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. Treat your family and friends over Christmas dinner with this dominant Chasselas 2018 — Gutedel Steinkrügle. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you offer them chasselas with terrines or poultry.
Tasting note
Intense on the nose: herbs, apples, pears, delicate apricot and mirabelle aromas. Dry on the palate, very rich in finesse and harmonious, mild and ripe acidity, elegant, subtly salty, very strong minerality, fine bitterness with a very long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Asian cuisine, poultry, asparagus and vegetables.
Vinification
Fully ripe, hand-picked grapes from over 35-year-old good precious vines, spontaneously fermented in large wooden barrels, aged on lees. After two years of aging in barrels, it is bottled unfiltered.
