Tasting note
Highly aromatic with pear and tangerine fruit and a bit of spice. The structured palate is fresh, mineral and firm with mineral notes, appealing citrus fruits and a salty touch.
Culinary recommendation
A fantastic wine with cod with fennel dill dashi.
Vinification
A single Grenache Blanc vineyard planted in 2009 on slate soils in the Kleine Karoo (near Meiringspoort). Between hills with a continental, dry climate at an altitude of 450 m. Aged for 9 months on fine lees in older 228 liter and 400 liter barrels.
