About the wine
We have a special, distinctive Sauvignon Blanc from 2016 for you, which is enthralled by many wine connoisseurs. To get a feel for the mountainous and hilly landscape aesthetics in Lower Austria, there is no way around this white wine, which the Austrian winery Johannes Zillinger masters with a keen sense of texture. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Sauvignon Blanc with goat cheese or white meat.

Tasting note
The Fumé Blanc from Johannes Zillinger is an unfiltered, somewhat cloudy Sauvignon Blanc from its top, most “natural” NUMEN series. By this, we mean the least possible intervention in the cellar, in which the grapes begin to ferment in their skins (intracellularly). The wine has lots of character, deep aromas, elderflower notes, and a spicy, mineral finish at the end.
Culinary recommendation
With all warm starters with saltwater fish as well as veal goulash with white sauce.
