The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Kompassus in the sunny landscape of Bairrada masters this sparkling wine with sensitivity and intuition. Christmas 2021 is just around the corner! Tasting note
Very elegant rosé with subtle notes of red fruits. On the palate, the rosé impresses with its soft mousse, the acidity is crisp and well integrated. The pure aging of the Baga grape gives the sparkling wine a good structure with a fresh and long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, poultry, seafood & vegetables.
Vinification
This espumante is made from 100% of the typical Baga grape variety. In the press, the grapes undergo gentle skin maceration, followed by gentle pressing. The first fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature, the second fermentation traditionally takes place in the bottle. A minimum maturing period of 30 months is standard.
