More than 4400 cooperative members provide Provins, the largest Swiss wine producer, with the yields from the vineyard plots between Sierre and Lake Geneva. The company focuses on quality and produces a good 20 of the 50 Valais grape varieties today. The top oenologists Madeleine Gay and Luc Sermet and their team vinify the wines of Provins's premium brand, Maître de Chais, as the cooperative's unique calling card. It is the most frequently awarded Swiss wine line at major international competitions. The crus of international class, an ideal complement to well-kept gastronomy, are expressive wines that perfectly reflect the characteristics of terroir and grape variety.
