About the wine
The winemaker from the German Weingut Immich-Batterieberg has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the picturesque landscape of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Riesling with Indian cuisine or mushrooms.
Robert Parker: 91/100, James Suckling: 93/100
Tasting note
Light gold money. Intense, almost explosive nose with aromas of ripe pear, red apple, lime, peach, apricot and ripe mango as well as a fine slate minerality. Dry on the palate with plenty of concentration and firm acidity, and a long-lasting finish with notes of blood orange and salty minerality.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler is recommended for shrimps, Indian cuisine and Asian food.
Vinification
After manual harvesting, the wines are aged both in wooden barrels and in stainless steel tanks largely uncontrolled and left on the whole yeast for a long time. The puristic and dry wines are neither brightened nor deacidified.
