About the wine

Founded by Aimé Sabon in 1967 and rose with the region, to the top, where the domain is today an integral part of the new generation Christophe and Isabelle Sabon. In the small appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape alone, Janasse has almost 20 hectares of vines that are up to over 100 years old. A treasure that is cared for and farmed organically here, even in the cellar, only minimal intervention is carried out to let the unique terroirs speak for themselves, spontaneous fermentation, no filtration, hardly any new wood. The wines are fascinating unique, with an original, classic vein and noble elegance, with wonderful freshness and relatively low alcohol levels for the region. Châteauneuf-du-Pape straight out of a picture book, without sweet excesses. World-class!
