About the wine
With the powerful Corvina 2015 — Corbec, you can offer your guests something very special. Tasting note
Dark cherry red with purple reflections. On the nose, a sensual, profound bouquet reminiscent of plums, black chocolate and gingerbread spice. Full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, with lots of dark fruit and spice. Very nicely integrated tannin. The aftertaste is characterful and long-lasting.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with barbecues, game and mature cheese.
Vinification
After strict selection, the grapes are dried on racks in well-ventilated areas for 22 days (as with Amarone). As a result, they lose around 30% of their original weight. The alcoholic fermentation then takes place for around 30 days. The wine is aged in French barriques for 18 months and then married.
