About the wine

When Valais wine icon Gérald Clavien was looking for a successor solution for his vineyards in Miège and the surrounding area, it quickly became clear to the two friends Amédée Mathier and Urs Zweifel that they wanted to seize this opportunity. They founded a company based in Valais and named it Bercoula, after the most famous vineyard location, which they had jointly taken over from Clavien. Maison Bercoula's heart beats for local grape varieties: Petite Arvine, Heida, Humagne Rouge, Pinot Noir, Syrah and many more. Maison Bercoula combines its Valais heart with Zurich spirit.
