The wine-growing regions of the French winery Bertrand-Delespierre extend across the Champagne countryside, where the experienced winemaker produces this sparkling wine. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this sparkling wine with appetizers or crustaceans.
Tasting note
Around 70% of this single-varietal Chardonnay is converted into used “Demi Muids”; BSA is not used. It was disgorged after more than 65 months. The nose features inviting citrus aromas such as lime, lemon zest and orange peel, accompanied by apricot and peach notes, accompanied by fine creamy floral tones and a subtle iodic-mineral chalk touch. Crunchy palate, with good pressure, fine structure and elegant perlage.
Culinary recommendation
A wonderful aperitif champagne that also goes perfectly with oysters or sushi and sashimi and also ennobles fish and crustaceans in the most beautiful way - preferably fried or grilled.
