About the wine
With sensitivity and instinct, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodega Alegre Valgañon masters this red wine in the picturesque and beautiful landscape of the Upper Ebro. Do you already know the distinctive Grenache Carra Sto Domingo Tinto DOCa Rioja with the vintage 2018? If not, it's time! Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this grenache with spicy food or vegetables.
Tasting note
Intense clear nose of red berries, red cherries, herbal notes and Mediterranean spices. Juicy and fresh on the palate with lots of red fruit and a dense body. An exciting long finish!

Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Carra Sto Domingo Tinto DOCa Rioja passt bestens zu rotem Fleisch, Burger mit Blauschimmelkäse und Gemüse.
Vinification
Only 75% of the white (approx. 25%) and red grapes picked manually from the plot are destemmed and then fermented in an open wooden vat using natural yeasts. It is then aged for around 18 months in a single used 400-liter barrel.
