About the wine
There is something left over from Easter dinner every year. Do you know that? Why not invite your friends over for a glass of wine in the afternoon to relish the festive meal and we recommend this provocative Merlot — Carpe Divem Troi VDT. Sunny landscapes of Languedoc-Roussillon give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the French winery Divem conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Combine this merlot with duck or poultry.
wine in perfection (CB)
Tasting note
Black ruby. Aromas of black berries, rose petals, blackberry. Carpe Divem is a blend of three barriques from 2011-2013. Gil Morrot conducts research at INRA, among other things, in the area of wine aromas. With this wine, which has only appeared on the market for the second time to this day, he shows where optimal conditions can lead. 12-15 hl/ha were harvested, five times less than allowed, the wines were neither brightened nor filtered, only moved twice and bottled in August 2016.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Carpe Divem Troi VDT goes well with duck, slightly spicy red meat and poultry.
