About the wine
Easter 2022 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this provocative Grenache 2019 — Camí de la Mina Priorat DOQ. You can describe nature in Catalonia with words such as barren. However, the Spanish winery Clos Pachem is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this red wine. We think he succeeded! Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This grenache is excellent to serve with spicy dishes or vegetables.
Tasting note
The nose shows intense notes of delicious red and black fruits, with the cherry predominating. The Carignan portion brings aromas of aromas such as violet blossoms and herbs. The maturation gives it very subtle vanilla and roasted aromas. In the mouth, the wine shows a complexity of aromas. It is a smooth and elegant wine with great abundance.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. Flaschenpost team recommends this Camí de la Mina Priorat DOQ to accompany burgers with blue cheese, spicy dishes and vegetables.
Vinification
Spontaneous fermentation in 1000 l tanks, maceration for 10-14 days. Aging for 12 months in French barrique barrels and 1000 l ceramic stone tank.
