Tasting note
Dark red in color, a bouquet of dark fruits, strong body, an overwhelmingly sensual taste experience — this is the first vintage of the Blaufränkisch Reunion. After just a few minutes in the glass, there is a beguiling scent of sour cherries, berries, herbs and tobacco notes. Even a small sip remains on the palate long afterwards. No doubt about it: A new Blaufränkisch star was born here who will make a lot of talk about himself.

Vinification
Reunion — this is the name of the new joint wine project between Gerhard Kracher and Winzerkeller Neckenmarkt. The top location in Hochberg provides the grapes for two Blaufränkisch of exceptional stature. The Passion is aged on the mash for 4 weeks, half in used and new wood. Storage 14 months.
